SELECTMEN’S MINUTES

OLD BUSINESS:
The minutes of April 23, 2002 were approved as written, signed and will be posted to our web page.
NEW BUSINESS:
Subject: Road Agent Assistant, A J May
HIGHLIGHTS:
The clean up of the roads is going well.
Subject: Police Chief, Patrick Clark
HIGHLIGHTS:
Chief Clarke introduced the Board to Eric Krochmal for the part-time police position.
Subject: Neva Dun
HIGHLIGHTS:
The contract for the town was discussed. Neva Dun will bring the contract to Judy.
Subject:Towle/Mason Road
HIGHLIGHTS:
The residents of Towle/Mason Road came in to talk to the Board regarding their concerns with the new road name. They would like it changed back to the former names of Towle Road and mason Road. The concerns were for the public safety and the time delays that have occurred due to the confusion of “which end of the road to enter”.
The Board will look into the correct procedure on the changing of the road name.
SUBJECT: Mr. Baas
HIGHLIGHTS:
Discussed plans for the Teacher’s Antiques parking and future use of Depot Road.
